These terms govern the registration, conduct, and responsibilities of medical professionals (“Doctor”, “You”) who join the Doctor Sahib platform for offering home visit consultations to patients.
By signing up and providing your services via Doctor Sahib, you agree to these terms.
1. Eligibility and Registration
- You must be a licensed medical practitioner in India with valid and up-to-date registration under the Medical Council of India or relevant State Medical Council.
- You are required to upload:
- Government-issued photo ID
- Medical registration certificate
- Degree certificate(s)
- All documents are verified manually or through authorized third parties.
2. Services to Be Provided
- You agree to provide professional medical services at the patient’s home at the scheduled date and time.
- You must:
- Arrive punctually
- Maintain hygiene and medical ethics
- Respect patient confidentiality and rights
- Keep proper documentation of each visit
3. Code of Conduct
- Misconduct, abuse, unprofessional behavior, or medical negligence will result in immediate suspension or removal from the platform.
- You agree to treat every patient equally, respectfully, and in line with your medical duty.
4. Consultation Charges and Payouts
- You will receive payments as per the consultation fee listed and agreed upon during onboarding.
- Doctor Sahib collects the payment on your behalf and disburses your share bi-weekly after deducting platform service fees (if applicable).
- You must have a valid bank account or UPI ID for payout processing.
5. Cancellations and No-Shows
- If you must cancel or reschedule a visit, you must notify the platform and/or the patient at least 3 hours in advance.
- Frequent cancellations or no-shows may lead to penalties or suspension.
6. Independence of Practice
- You operate as an independent medical practitioner.
- Doctor Sahib does not employ you or interfere in your clinical judgment.
7. Legal and Compliance
- You are responsible for:
- Following all laws related to medical practice in India.
- Keeping your license and certifications up to date.
- Doctor Sahib may request updated documents at any time for continued listing.
8. Termination
- Doctor Sahib reserves the right to suspend or terminate your profile if:
- Complaints are received from patients.
- You violate any of the terms mentioned above.
- Legal action is initiated against you by medical councils or courts.
9. Data Confidentiality
- Any patient data you receive via the platform must be kept confidential and secure.
- You must not share, sell, or misuse patient data for any non-consultation purposes.
